Light in the Darkness |
A photo album in reaction to the death of a beloved family member. Even in winter where there is sadness and darkness, there can still be beauty in loss. This project was me trying to come to grips with loss, "to continue what I was doing, and to spread joy and revolution"(119). It has been a rough winter and taking photographs was a nice break for me to just take time for me. I took this assignment as a way for me to come to grips with the world and its harshness. I took pictures just of things that I thought showed the mixture between light and darkness. This is what it came to be.
I LOVE YOUR LIGHTS
ReplyDeleteHey, Eryn.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your loss. You've taken some beautiful pictures. I don't think that they all make me feel grief or sadness, some if them (like the light ones) make me feel happy or hopeful. Maybe in your book you could separate and group them by the emotion they make you feel. Very beautiful, keep up the good work!
